Terms Of Business

 

 

VAT
All prices quoted are strictly net, exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the appropriate rate if applicable.
-For orders from other ''EC'' member states VAT will have to be added at the UK current rate of 20.00%.
-Orders placed by companies from other ''EC'' member states will be charged VAT unless a valid VAT registration No. is provided and only after verifying with Customs and Excise in the UK that the VAT No. is currently valid an exemption will apply.  


Prices
-While every effort will be made to maintain the prices quoted, the seller reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
-Prices quoted in this catalogue are for UK and EEC customers (import duty paid). Special prices for overseas customers.



Delivery

-Orders received by 4pm will be dispatched the same day
-Delivery by post will be first class, recorded delivery, and registered post or by courier for guaranteed next day delivery.
-Export orders will be dispatched by air parcel post, registered post, airfreight, or ARAMEX/DHL/FEDEX/UPS depending on the customer's requirement.
-Carriage, shipping and packing charges are extra, Customers have to apply the appropriate shipping charge when placing an order failing that an administrative charge of £GBP4.99 will be levied.
-Shipping charge dependent on weight and shipping method.
-We will do our best to meet delivery requirements but we will not be liable for failure to do so. Anytime or date quoted for delivery by the seller is given and intended only as an estimate. The seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever for failure to deliver within such time.
-All items listed are subject to availability from manufacturers.
-In the case of a customer failing to pay the correct postage & packaging charge a refund will be issued, incurring a charge of £1.00. Please make sure you apply the right shipping/p&p/dispatch charge! 

Guarantee
All original parts supplied have been tested and certified to be of prime quality from the manufacturer. And are subject to manufacturer terms and conditions.


Documentation
A single invoice is supplied with each delivery. A charge of £1.50 will be made for each additional copy. 


Payments
All accounts must be paid no later than thirty days from date of invoice. In the event of default, interest will be charged at an annual rate equal to the Bank of England minimum lending rate, plus two per cent on all outstanding overdue balances.
The customer will be fully accountable for all costs incurred by the seller in recovering outstanding monies.
We accept payment by credit cards and debit (Access, Visa, and Switch).



New Accounts
Customers wishing to open ledger accounts are required to furnish two trade and bankers references (This facility is on hold at the moment).
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel credit facilities at any time.


Customer Cancellation Rights

The customer has a right to cancel a contract if he/she wishes within 7 days following the day the contract was made. This can be done by return email, in writing by post or verbally by telephone.

If it is done by post, you are advised to obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office or send your cancellation notification by Recorded Delivery.

Please keep a copy of your cancellation notification. No cancellation will be accepted for ''SPECIAL ORDERS'' meaning parts that we don’t usually keep in stock and we order especially on the customer's request.

Retention of Title
The ownership of the goods to be supplied by the seller will only be transferred to the customer when full payments for the goods has been made.


Returns

-Goods returned as incorrectly ordered or no longer required will not be accepted without the prior agreement of the seller. A handling charge of thirty per cent will be levied.
-Goods returned may only be accepted if they are undamaged and in their original packing.


Shortages or Damage
-Damage or shortage of goods must be notified to the seller within seven days.
-Under no circumstances shall the seller be liable for loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by goods supplied.
